ABOUT THE INVENTOR

Sam Tyler has been in the water treatment industry for over 30 years. Being a WQA Master Water Specialist, a Licensed Well Contractor, and an NGWA Certified Pump Installer, he has serviced and installed thousands of water well and water treatment systems. He understands the sometimes grueling part of the service business and how much everyone in all aspects of our industry appreciate the tools and machines that make our jobs easier.

His number one priority with inventing the Rebed Box was being able to maintain a good quality of life outside of our trade. There had to be a healthier way for a service tech to empty media from tanks without the constant load on their backs. Being able to spend good quality time with family and friends after work without feeling the pains from a heavy work week is worth its weight in gold!

Then came the idea of a product that brings in efficiency to make a profit in a more timely manner. The Rebed Box can cut down time on servicing a system by 30 minutes! Time is money and the Rebed Box can increase profits!

DIVE DEEPER

To use the Rebed Box you simply lower the upper portion of the filter tank onto the cradle, strap the tank to it, lift the tank, and clip the cradle to the frame of the box using the cable and clip that is attached to the cradle. After the cradle is clipped, you can let go of the tank. It will tilt back a slight 85 degree angle where it stays stable. Next step is to attach a hose to the water jetting assembly that is fixed to the back portion of the cradle. This water jetting mechanism sends water up into the fiberglass tank loosening the media where it will flow out. As the media drops out of the tank, it can easily be cleared away.

You can also use a porous bag such as burlap, that allows the user to collect and contain the media or resin for proper disposal. This type of bag is best used when a softener tank is being emptied or other medias that are considered hazardous need to be collected. It gets better! There is also space underneath to place a bucket for media collection. Another great feature is that the water treatment tank is elevated off the ground which prevents bacteria and other contaminants from getting inside.

KEEP YOUR SERVICE TECHS HAPPY & SAFE

Keeping your service techs safe and happy is crucial to a successful business. A career in the water treatment industry can be short lived because of back injuries sustained by service techs not having the proper tools to do the job. The Rebed Box is a tool that every service truck should have. Your employees will thank you for looking out for their health and will also increase profits!
